JDE users will time out of an instance if JAS server settings are not tuned appropriately for your business. This can bring a lot of frustrated users to your door. Subscribe to the Clarity Result set time out alert to head them off at the pass.
If you receive a Result set time out alert, there are a couple of Oracle Docs that can help. Review Doc ID 645993.1 and Doc ID 1488013.1 for insight based on the number of users accessing your system and how long they should be logged in before timing out.
Remember, you will need to restart JAS instances after tuning the JAS server so this should be done during downtime.
